Hot take: That career coach on TikTok gave me awful advice about quitting my job
Last March I followed this career coach with 200k followers who said to quit my office job and focus full time on my art side hustle. I gave notice after her video about 'betting on yourself' and within 2 months I was panicking over bills. Turns out she was selling a course and had zero real experience in creative business. Now I'm back at a 9-5 and rebuilding my savings. Has anyone else taken bad advice from an influencer who hyped up the 'just quit' mindset?
