It struck me how the whole fidget spinner craze just evaporated
I mean, every kid had one for a hot minute, and now they're nowhere to be seen. Idk, maybe it's just me but it shows how quick the internet moves on.

Totally get what you mean. I actually thought those things would stick around for years, but you're right, they just disappeared. Feels like that whole phase was over in a blink.

Seriously! I found three old spinners in a box while cleaning last week. My advice? Just toss them. I held onto mine forever thinking they'd come back, but they're just plastic junk now. Even the charity shops near me have bins full of them they can't give away. Worst part is the cheap ones have those tiny button batteries that start to leak after a few years.

You're right, it did vanish almost overnight. I remember the noise of them spinning in every waiting room and classroom. My nephew had a whole collection, and now they're just clutter in a junk drawer. It's a perfect example of how these things burn bright and fast now. The internet picks something up, chews on it for a season, and spits it out. Finding one of those spinners today feels like digging up a relic from a different time.

Found one in my car's cup holder last week. Kevinh48 is right, they were everywhere and then just gone. My cat bats it around now, which is about all they're good for.
