Pro tip: don't buy a $500 'viral' skincare device you saw on TikTok

Bought this LED light mask thing back in 2021 when everyone was going nuts for them. Paid $500 for the fancy brand with all the claims. Used it maybe 10 times over 3 months. Now it's sitting in my bathroom cabinet collecting dust. The hype was crazy, everyone swore it would fix acne and wrinkles. Now you see them at goodwill for $20. Anyone else dump money on one of these and regret it?

A simple sunblock has done more for my skin than any gadget ever did.

Actually sunblock has to be reapplied every two hours to work properly.

Wait, have you tried using a good powder sunscreen for touch-ups? Honestly, that was a game changer for me. I used to hate reapplying lotion but a brush-on powder SPF makes it super easy. You just dust it on over your makeup or bare skin without messing anything up. Ngl, it saved my skin on days I'm out running errands or just sitting in the car. Tbh, I still keep the regular sunblock for the initial layer, but the powder is the real hack for staying protected.
