Pro tip: that 'cursed' ice bucket challenge video everyone shared in 2014 got 17 million views and the guy in it now runs a lawn care business in Ohio
I went down a rabbit hole on old viral videos last week and ended up on a Facebook page for a landscaping company in Toledo, because the owner's profile pic looked weirdly familiar. Turns out he was the guy who dumped ice on his head and screamed, and he's got 4.2 stars on Google with reviews that have nothing to do with the video, which I honestly respect. Does anyone else ever check up on the people from old viral clips to see if they escaped it, or is that just a me thing?

That 4.2 star rating matters more than 17 million views ever did. The guy probably gets more real joy from a good review than from people remembering a dumb scream. Kind of makes you wonder who actually escaped what.
