That one Tuesday when my old vintage lamp suddenly became a $400 hot item on eBay

I listed a dusty 1970s lava lamp from my grandma's basement for $10 and got 47 bids in 6 hours after some TikTok reseller featured it in a video. Has anyone else had a random item blow up like that and then watched the demand vanish just as fast?

Buddy listed a box of old computer cables once, sold for $200.

Box of old computer cables" sold for $200? That's wild. I mean, I've seen some crazy reseller stories on here, but who in their right mind pays that much for a tangled pile of VGA cords and random power adapters? Maybe there was a gold-plated HDMI in there or something, I don't know. Your buddy must have caught the right buyer at the exact right moment, because that demand fades fast. I once sold a retro gaming console for triple the price and then couldn't give away a similar one a month later. Timing is everything in this weird market.
