That viral tiny house influencer I followed for 2 years just sold her place and moved back to an apartment
I was following this woman on Instagram who built this amazing 200 square foot tiny house in Oregon... she had like 300k followers and everyone was obsessed. Then she posts a video last month saying she couldn't handle the composting toilet and the lack of space after the second winter. It made me wonder how many of those influencers are still living in their tiny homes vs just quietly moving on... has anyone else noticed the tiny house trend fading out?

Did she ever talk about how much time and money she spent maintaining the house and land? Those composting toilets and solar setups look cool on camera but they're legit full-time jobs to keep running. I wonder if the aesthetic was worth the actual work.

Yeah I used to think tiny houses were the future too but that changed my mind.
