The $200 name generator that got me banned from a forum
Last month I paid $200 for a 'viral content naming package' from a guy who had 50k followers on Twitter. It was supposed to make my posts stick, but the names it generated were so generic the mods flagged me as a bot. Now I'm back to just writing titles like a normal person, and honestly it works better. Anyone else waste cash on hype tools that ended up hurting more than helping?

Honestly I think you're making this way bigger than it needs to be. A $200 name generator got you banned, so what? You spent the money, you learned the lesson, move on. It's not like the mods are gonna remember you or that this ruined your whole online presence. Plenty of people drop cash on dumb tools that do nothing, that's basically the internet's favorite hobby. The real issue here is that you gave a random Twitter guy money for something you could've figured out yourself with a free thesaurus. And now you're back to normal titles and it works, which just proves the whole thing was a waste from the start. So yeah, it stings for a week, but it's not some big life lesson. Just don't buy the next hype thing and you'll be fine.

Remind yourself that this is just a speed bump, not a dead end, and you'll laugh about it eventually.
