Tried repurposing old fidget spinner merch into keychain gifts last month

I had a box of those viral fidget spinners collecting dust in my garage from 2017, so I popped out the bearings and glued them onto keyring blanks. Ended up giving them to coworkers in Austin and people actually thought they were cool upcycled gadgets. Anyone else find a weird second life for old hype merch?

Popped out the bearings and glued them onto keyring blanks" - I did almost the same thing. Spray painted some old spinner caps and turned them into zipper pulls for my bags, folks loved them.

@emma_baker61's wristband idea is genius, I'd silicone glove the bearings for grip.

Hot glue the bearings onto silicone wristbands instead, they last way longer.
