I hit 400 AI images on my ArtStation and that was the day I stopped uploading
I checked my ArtStation profile last Tuesday and saw I had uploaded 400 images over the past 14 months, and about 380 of them were made with AI. That number hit me hard because I always thought of myself as a pen and ink artist. I started using a generator just to block out poses, but somewhere around image 100 it became the whole process. What bothered me most is that my 12 real drawings got buried under all the AI stuff in my own gallery. A friend who runs a small gallery in Portland told me she could spot which pieces were mine in about 3 seconds, and that stung more than I expected. I pulled every AI image down that night and it felt like cleaning a dirty window. Now I'm sketching again, slower than before, but the art is actually mine. Has anyone else counted their uploads and found out the ratio was way worse than they thought?
