Just hit 50 completely AI-free commissions this month
I've been a digital artist for 6 years and last month I checked my records - 50 clients paid me for hand-drawn work in March alone. That's more than double what I had in January, and I honestly thought AI would've killed my business by now. Has anyone else seen a weird spike in people specifically requesting "no AI" in their commission notes?

That's awesome to hear people actually want real art again...

Honestly, I used to roll my eyes at that "real art" stuff and thought it was just snobs complaining. But seeing how fast people are ditching those mass-produced, soulless prints for actually handmade stuff really flipped my switch (took me way too long to get it). It's kind of refreshing that folks are willing to pay more for something that has a little personality and history behind it.

@emma_rodriguez30 I gotta disagree a little bit. Saw a guy selling "handmade" pottery at a market last week. Looked exactly like the stuff from the factory stores but with more fingerprints. Price was triple. People bought it because of the story, not because the art was actually good. Sometimes "real" just means overpriced and uneven.
