That moment you realize nobody reads the panel manual for wireless range
I was on a big commercial install in Denver last month and the customer kept asking why their back warehouse sensors kept dropping out. Turns out the installer before me had mounted the panel behind a metal filing cabinet and nobody thought to check the manual's note about keeping 3 feet of clearance from large metal objects. Has anyone else run into this kind of thing where a simple site walkthrough would have saved everyone a headache?

Don't you think half these issues would just disappear if people actually walked the site before mounting anything? I swear, I've seen racks bolted right next to big metal shelving units and then they wonder why the signal is trash.

Yeah but @felixhenderson, is it really that deep? A little metal shelf ain't gonna kill your signal that bad unless you're running some super janky setup.
