Thought keypad codes on shared doors were a gimmick until a customer in Tulsa called me at 11pm
I've been installing for 14 years and always pushed back on customers who wanted a code on the inside garage door, figuring a lock is a lock. Last month a homeowner in Tulsa called after someone popped her garage in under 2 minutes with a coat hanger, and the keypad I'd installed 8 months earlier meant the door between the garage and house was already armed and locked, so the guy got nothing. So what's the cheap piece you used to talk people out of that turned out to be worth it?
