Wireless sensor range got me on a 4 story job in Austin last Tuesday
Client wanted sensors on the top floor fire doors, but my panel sat in the basement utility room. Signal died at the third floor stairwell, had to run a repeater to the elevator shaft. Anyone else ever trust the spec sheet over a real site survey and pay for it?

That elevator shaft repeater sounds like a pain... did you end up running new cable for it, or did you find a way to make the wireless hop work through the concrete?
