Man, that guy sounds like he has seen it all. What does he say when the young guys just throw parts at a car because the code reader told them to? I bet he has a whole list of stories where the computer was dead wrong and a set of ears or a vacuum gauge caught what no scanner ever would. Does he ever get pushback from the younger techs, or do they actually shut up and listen when he talks? I want to know if the old school ways still hold up on these newer cars or if they only work on the stuff he grew up with.
