Found a 20 year old fridge compressor in a Bakersfield repair shop, blew my mind
Stopped by a mom and pop parts store in Bakersfield last Tuesday to grab a relay, and the guy behind the counter showed me a compressor from a 1998 Kenmore that was STILL running on his test bench. He said it had outlived three new units he'd installed for the same customer. Has anyone else seen old compressors that just refuse to die, or is this a freak case?
