Found a trick for those impossible-to-reach ice maker screws
Last month in a tight Kenmore fridge, I used a 1/4 inch socket with a 3 inch extension and a universal joint to get at the back screw. It saved me from having to pull the whole unit out. Anyone have a different method for those cramped spaces?
Sounds like a lot of work for a screw. Just pull the unit, it's usually only a few more clips and a water line. Saves the hassle of dropping a tool inside the cabinet.
Yeah but have you ever tried to get those clips back on? I've had them snap on me and then you're really stuck. Pulling the whole unit can make a simple job way worse.
