Got a service call for a dryer that 'smelled like victory'

The guy in Phoenix said he'd been drying his old army boots in it for a week straight. Anyone else had a client try to use an appliance for something it clearly wasn't meant for?

See this kind of stuff all the time, people just treat appliance settings like suggestions instead of actual instructions. It's the same energy as ignoring expiration dates on food and wondering why you get sick.
