Question about hose clamp pliers vs those spring clip pliers on washer repairs
I picked up a pair of those remote cable hose clamp pliers for getting at the pump on a Whirlpool front loader and it cut my time on the job from about 40 minutes down to 15. The spring clip pliers I had been using kept slipping off at that awkward angle behind the drum, and I pinched a knuckle twice in one week. The cable style lets me lock the clamp open before I even reach in there, which is the whole difference. Anyone got a favorite setup for the really tight spots under a Kenmore, or is the cable tool as good as it gets?
