The day a guy in Cleveland showed me the dryer vent trick and I felt dumb
Back in 2019 I was on a service call in Cleveland and the homeowner, an old repair guy himself, watched me pull a dryer apart for 40 minutes before he asked if I checked the vent first. Turned out a bird nest was blocking it and I had wasted a whole afternoon chasing the wrong thing, so now the vent is the first thing I look at. How do you all handle it when a customer knows the trade better than you do on a call?
