Dropped $300 on a Silky Zubat saw last spring and it changed how I prune oaks entirely

Bought it after a guy from a crew in Ohio swore by it for limbing up live branches and the pull cut is so clean I barely need a handsaw now, has anyone else had luck with those long curved blades on thick stuff?

Hell yeah. Got the same saw last fall for my live oak work here in Texas. That curved blade just bites in and pulls through without grabbing. Took down some 8 inch limbs with it no problem, just took a few extra passes. Really saves the shoulders on a long day.

Ngl, the real game changer is how that curve keeps the saw from binding when you're cutting at an awkward angle. Straight blades love to grab in live oak, that's where most people end up cussing.
