Just read about a 4,500 year old brewery they found in Egypt
It was in Abydos, made for royal rituals. They think it could make over 5,000 gallons of beer at once. That scale for that time is wild. Anyone know of other finds that show ancient industrial sites like this?

Yeah, that scale is nuts. I saw a doc about a huge Roman pottery factory in France, like an entire industrial zone. They had rows of kilns and could pump out thousands of amphorae for wine and oil. It was basically the ancient version of a mass production line.

Oh wow, your lopsided ashtray story totally reminds me of my friend Jenna! She took one of those "wine and wheel" classes last year and her pot came out looking like a sad, droopy bowl. She tried to call it a "modern art fruit bowl" but we all knew the truth. The clay just kept flopping over on one side no matter how hard she tried to center it. She was so proud of it though, she put it on her desk at work and uses it to hold paperclips. Honestly, it kind of looks like a melted ice cream cone but she loves it and that's what matters!
