My dryer drum belt snapped mid-cycle on a Tuesday and the repair kit from Amazon was the wrong size.
When I finally got the right part three days later I realized the tension pulley was seized too, so I had to order that separate and wait another week, has anyone else had to rebuild a whole dryer just because of one stupid belt?

Have you checked if the replacement belt came with a new pulley in the box? Some brands include it, but not all.

Right after I fixed the belt on my dryer, I found the drum rollers were all worn down too. By the time I was done I had basically rebuilt the whole thing just because of that one little belt.

Yeah "basically rebuilt the whole thing" is pretty much how it goes. Once you dig into one part you see all the other stuff that's worn out. The drum rollers are a must do whenever you replace the belt, otherwise you'll just be back in there in 6 months. @hannah_west39 is right about checking for the pulley too, I had a kit that came with one but the idler pulley bracket was cracked and I had to order that separately. Definitely look up a video for your specific model before you order parts, because some dryers have the rollers on a different setup.
