Noticed my neighborhood's mail delivery time shifted by about three hours over the last ten years

I watched our mailman come around 10 AM for years, but now it's usually after 1 PM. Started back around 2016 when they cut routes and added more stops per carrier. Has anyone else seen their mail time drift like that?

It's wild how much the little things creep up on you. I noticed the same thing with my neighbor's trash pickup, used to be at 7 AM sharp now it's closer to 9. Feels like everything in life is just getting stretched out a bit thinner. The library near me cut their hours too, and the bus schedule changed so it comes less often. You start to realize all these small shifts add up and make the whole day feel different.

Buddy of mine lives two streets over and he told me his mail used to show up around 9:30 AM like clockwork. Around 2017 it slowly started creeping later and later. Last time we talked about it, he said the mail comes between 2 and 3 PM now. He actually started checking the tracking on packages because he'd wait all morning for nothing. The mailman even told him they gave him like 200 extra houses on his route so he just starts later now.

Wait, they just added 200 houses to one route with no extra help?
