Picked the cheap dentist over the fancy one for my root canal
Saved $800 by going to a small office in a strip mall and honestly it went fine, no pain, no issues six months later, so why does everyone act like you need to spend a fortune on dental work?

Are you willing to bet your jawbone on saving a few hundred bucks every time though? The thing is, most root canals go fine with a good cheap dentist, but when things go wrong they go really wrong. I've seen people end up with cracked roots or leftover infection that cost them way more to fix later. A fancy dentist isn't about the chair being nicer, it's about having a specialist like an endodontist who does these all day and has the right tools. One bad outcome can erase all that savings fast.
