The Tuesday where every single thing went wrong in under 4 hours

Tbh I had one of those days in Cincinnati last fall where my car battery died at 7am, then my work laptop wouldn't charge, then I locked my keys in the trunk at lunch. By 2pm I was sitting in a parking lot eating a sad sandwich and just laughing at the universe. The kicker was when my friend texted 'you okay?' and I typed back 'never better' and my phone died right after. Has anyone else had a day that felt like a comedy sketch written by someone who hates you?

Is it just me, or does the universe seem to pick one day a month to just dump on everyone all at once? Like there's some cosmic schedule where everything breaks on the same Tuesday and we all just have to ride it out. I swear I've had a few of those where I stopped even trying to fix stuff and just sat back to see what else could go wrong. It's almost funny when you hit that point of total surrender. The phone dying after you send that text is just the universe's way of saying "and that's the punchline.

I actually read a piece a while back about how we notice bad days more when they're all crammed together, like our brains just tag a whole stretch as cursed. @mileslane, your phone dying after the text is spot on, it's always the final little slap. My last one was the washing machine flooding, then my car battery dying, and I just sat on the floor eating cereal for dinner, laughing at it all. Surrender really is the only move sometimes. You just gotta let the universe have its moment.
