Update: I chose the manual process over the automation tool for my client's FAQ page and it ranked better in 3 months.

Everyone said to use the auto-generator for speed, but I wrote each answer from scratch based on real customer service tickets from their Denver office, which apparently Google liked a lot more for matching search intent.

Remember the automation just recycles existing info. You added new, specific details from real tickets that didn't exist online before, which is pure gold for search engines. That's a huge win for quality over speed.
