Date said my star cluster photo was too pretty.

She saw it and called it unreal. It made me realize how rare it is to share the sky.

Last summer, my friend Sam caught the Milky Way from his backyard. His cousin said it looked like a screen saver, not real. Sam had to explain how he stood in the cold for an hour just to get the shot. That comment kinda ruined the moment for him.

The whole point of a star photo is to show how real that beauty is. Calling it too pretty makes it sound like a fantasy, but that light traveled for years to reach us. Sharing the sky is rare because most folks never really look up. When someone says it's unreal, they are missing the deep truth right above them. That moment of sharing should be about the real wonder, not a made up thing. How did it feel when she said that?

I tried to take a star photo last year and it looked like someone shook a glitter jar at a black wall. My camera just gave up. So when someone calls a shot "too pretty," part of me is just jealous their phone cooperated. What camera did they even use?
