My astro photos of Orion went from orange soup to sharp in 6 months, what fixed it?
I live in Phoenix and started shooting Orion from my driveway last October, and every shot came out as a mushy orange blob no matter what I did. Last week I tried stacking 40 frames in Siril after watching a YouTube tutorial instead of just editing one JPEG, and the nebula showed up clear for the first time. Was it the stacking, the colder winter air, or swapping my kit lens for a used 50mm that made the difference?
