My photo folder just hit 10,000 images and it feels like a weird kind of history
I was cleaning up my hard drive last night and saw the count. Ten thousand astro photos, all from my backyard setup over the past eight years. The first few hundred are just blurry dots, but you can see the exact night I got a better mount. It's not just a number, it's a full timeline of every mistake and small win. I can pick a random file from 2017 and remember the exact mosquito problem I had that evening. Has anyone else hit a big personal archive number and looked back at their own learning curve?

full timeline" seems a bit much, but ryan_black has a point.

That's a cool way to see your own progress, not just a folder.

It can get messy real fast though. A simple folder with dates works better for me. Keeps things clean and easy to find.
