Rent out or sell? Our 3 rental properties are suddenly a headache
We bought a Decatur duplex in 2019 and two more in East Point last spring, but tenant repairs ate $4,800 this summer alone. Are you all holding through the tax hike or cashing out while prices are still high?

Funny you mention repairs, we had a tenant in our old place call about a squeaky door once and by the time they were done explaining it I'd somehow agreed to replace the entire washer and dryer set. Never even saw the machine in person. Meanwhile my neighbor sold his East Point property for almost double what he paid in 2018 and he's been eating at the same Waffle House every Sunday bragging about it. Anyway, that tax hike thing, we looked at the numbers and it's basically eating up the profit from one unit entirely. I keep flip flopping between holding and selling, depends on the week honestly.
