Serious question, roof quotes in Marietta: got two bids, $9,800 vs $15,200, and the cheap one was the better job
Had two roofers out to my place off Sandy Plains Road to look at a leak over the garage, and the guy who quoted $15,200 wanted to replace the whole back slope while the $9,800 bid just fixed the flashing and three cracked shingles. It has held through two big storms since April and I keep wondering what the bigger quote was really paying for. Anyone else get two bids on a small repair where the cheaper guy turned out right?

Sounds like the 15k guy was pricing a new boat, not a roof.
