I used to buy 20 bags of mulch from the Lowe's on Moreland in early March like clockwork, and by July the whole front bed in Kirkwood looked washed out and thin. Two springs ago I waited until after Mother's Day to put it down, and the same amount lasted through August without that faded gray look. Is anybody else pushing their mulch back later, or am I just getting lucky with the weather?
