Appreciation post: I was wrong about monthly pest sprayings

I used to think paying $65 a month for a pest service was a total waste since I never saw bugs anyway. After two roaches showed up in my kitchen in Decatur last April, I watched my neighbor's place go from constant ant trails to spotless in about 3 weeks once he got on a regular schedule. Has anyone else switched from calling someone only when you spot a bug to doing the monthly plan, and did it actually keep things clear?
