Hot take: the exterminator at my nephew's birthday party in Marietta said roaches hate the smell of my cedar mulch more than any spray
He poked his head over the fence while my crew was unloading shingles and said the 2 inches of cedar I put down near the AC unit two months ago is why I haven't seen a single roach on that side of the house, so now I'm wondering if anyone else has swapped sprays for mulch around their foundation.
