Serious question, why does the parts counter at my local NAPA in Boise push the $19 wiper blade when the $8 one is the same rubber?
Watched the guy behind the counter do it to three people in a row on Saturday, and I'm starting to think this is just how it works everywhere, so what's the deal, is the cheap one actually bad or am I missing something?

Not really "the same rubber" though. The cheap ones are usually plain rubber and the pricier ones are silicone or a rubber blend that holds up way better in sun and ice, which matters in Boise.
