TIL I was over-greasing my wheel bearings on the boat trailer, and it cost me a hub
Spent 3 seasons packing the hubs until grease pushed out both sides, figuring more had to be better. Then a guy at the ramp in Corpus pointed at the seal weeping on my rear hub and asked if I was pumping till it squirted, turns out I was blowing the seals and washing the grease right off the bearings. Anyone got a rule of thumb for how much is actually enough, or do you just go by feel?
