TIL you can spend 4 hours chasing a coolant leak that's just a loose hose clamp on the lower radiator hose

Spent a whole Saturday swapping thermostats and water pumps on my buddy's Ford F-150 before I noticed the clamp was barely finger-tight, has anyone else wasted that much time on something stupidly simple?

Feel your pain man, spent six hours on a mystery rattle that was just a loose license plate screw.

You ever spend that much time on something and feel like such a dummy after? I did the same thing last month with a squeak that turned out to be just a loose bolt on the seat mount. Not my finest moment either, but at least the rattle is gone now.
