Torque converter swap took 9 hours for a 45 minute job
My 2014 F150 ended up needing a new torque converter and the trans shop said it was a quick pull, but the bell housing bolts were seized and two snapped off inside. I burned a full Saturday plus most of Sunday drilling and extracting them, has anyone else hit this on a 6R80 with rust belt miles?

You call that a quick pull but I bet the shop quoted book time without factoring in ten winters of salt and corrosion. Nine hours with two snapped bell housing bolts sounds about right for a rust belt truck, honestly. The real kicker is those extractors usually break too, so consider yourself lucky you got out in a day and a half.
