Paid $75 for a "premium" auto transport quote site in 2019, all it did was sell my number
Back when I was moving my truck from Tucson to Seattle, I dropped $75 on one of those sites that promised instant quotes from 20 carriers, and every single one of those "quotes" was the same broker calling me twice a day for 3 weeks. My phone blew up so bad I changed my number, and the rates they gave me were $200 higher than what I got just calling a carrier direct from a U-Haul lot referral. Now I just get 3 quotes myself over the phone, so does anyone here still mess with those paid quote sites or did we all learn this the hard way?
