Quoted U-Ship at $1,100 for my Civic from Phoenix to Denver, went with a small broker instead for $650

The big site gave me a window of 7 to 10 days and the broker had a driver at my door in 2 days for $450 less, has anyone else had better luck going small over the big name sites or was I just lucky?
