Client sent a 200 page spec, then called my questions 'nitpicking'
Last month I had a contract in Austin where the client handed over a massive spec document but got annoyed when I asked for clarification on deadlines and deliverables. Turns out their previous vendor just nodded along and delivered garbage, so they assumed I was being difficult instead of thorough. At what point do you push back on vague requirements versus just billing for the extra discovery time?
