Switched my bookkeeping software and saw a real difference in 3 weeks

I was using QuickBooks for my cleaning biz for 2 years. Hated it. Switched to FreshBooks last month. My invoicing time dropped from 20 minutes to like 5. The expense tracking actually makes sense now. Has anyone else made a switch that saved them real hours per week?

You mentioned "invoicing time dropped from 20 minutes to like 5" and that really got my attention because I read a blog post saying most small biz owners waste over 10 hours a week on manual bookkeeping tasks. Sounds like FreshBooks is doing what it's supposed to if it cut that much time off for you. I've been thinking about making the jump myself after hearing similar stories from other cleaners in a Facebook group.

Exactly. The time savings add up fast when you're not fighting clunky software every day. FreshBooks just gets out of your way and lets you work.

Aaron880 that's exactly what I was thinking too lol. Once you get used to software that actually flows with how you work, going back feels like punishment. The 10 hours a week stat doesn't surprise me at all because a lot of those programs make you do things their way instead of just handling the basics. Plus when you cut that time down you end up catching little mistakes that would've cost you money later on. It's wild how much mental energy gets freed up too when you're not fighting with your tools every day.
