That vendor who called me 'sweetheart' during a demo in Cleveland

Last month I sat through a 45 minute software demo and the sales rep kept calling me sweetheart, then dear, then hon. I'm a 52 year old procurement manager, not someone's grandma at a buffet. He also triple clicked his own mouse during a lag and blamed my Wi-Fi, which was wired. I ended up buying from a competitor just out of spite. Has anyone else had a vendor treat you like you can't understand your own needs?
