My bear canister became a bowling ball on the High Sierra Trail
I was camping near Hamilton Lake last fall when a gust of wind sent my Garcia canister rolling down a granite slab, and I had to chase it for a solid quarter mile before it got stuck in a creek. The whole thing was so ridiculous I just sat there laughing while my dinner bobbed away in the current. Has anyone else had their gear go on an unexpected adventure?
