Took me 11 days to find the leak in my 2019 ULA Circuit on the Ozark Highlands Trail
I noticed a wet spot on the bottom of my sleeping bag after night two near White Rock Mountain, and I figured it was just condensation. I hung everything up at a shelter near Ozone, checked seams, taped the pad, swapped my stuff sack, and even blamed my buddy's tarp for dripping on me. Turned out a tiny pinhole in the hydration bladder hose was letting water run down the outside of the tube into the pack, and it only showed up when I drank. Eleven days of drying gear and second guessing myself over a $12 hose. Has anyone else chased a phantom leak on a thru hike and lost their mind doing it?
