Pro tip: the koi guy at the Springfield show was right about skipping the UV filter
He told me to fix the algae with plants and shade instead of dropping $300 on a sterilizer, so I threw in hornwort and water lettuce last April and my water's been clear since June, has anyone else had luck ditching the UV entirely?
