Am I the only one who thinks plastic sheds are overrated?

I see everyone on here recommending those resin sheds from the big box stores, but I just had to replace one I bought 3 years ago. The shelves bowed under 50 pounds of potting soil and the floor started cracking after one winter freeze. I switched to a small metal shed from a local hardware shop in Portland, and it cost me $160 less total. Has anyone else had these plastic sheds wear out faster than they expected?

That whole plastic shed thing is just part of a bigger problem where everything's made to break fast now. We buy cheap stuff, it falls apart, and we're supposed to just throw it away and buy another one. My neighbor went through two plastic sheds in five years while the old wooden one his grandpa built is still standing. It's like companies figured out they make more money selling junk every few years than selling one solid thing that lasts.

Plastic sheds are just expensive garbage that rots from the inside out.
