Had to decide between a wooden shed and a metal one. Picked wrong.
I needed a 6x8 storage shed for my backyard in Austin. The wooden one was $1,200 and looked nice, but the metal one was only $700 so I went cheap. Big mistake. After two summers the metal roof started rusting and the whole thing gets like an oven inside. Has anyone else dealt with metal storage units in hot climates?

Get yourself a pop up canopy or a big beach umbrella. Clip that sucker on or stake it down and you'll be fine. Learned that one the hard way after frying my brain for three hours.

Blew my mind reading that a 6x8 metal shed only set you back $700. Down here in Phoenix, the cheap ones start at like a grand and still turn into a pizza oven by May. I can't believe yours rusted after two summers, that's crazy fast. I've heard folks say to paint them with reflective roof coating before summer hits, but that's just patching a bad choice. Sorry you got stuck with that, man.
