Heard a neighbor say her plastic shed roof caved in after one snowstorm

I was chatting with a lady two houses down last week and she told me her $200 plastic shed from the big box store couldn't handle the 8 inches of snow we got in February. The roof just split right down the middle and ruined all her gardening tools inside. Anyone else had a cheap shed fail on them like that and what did you switch to?

Yeah, those cheap plastic sheds are basically glorified tents. I've seen the same thing happen to a couple of people in our neighborhood - the snow just builds up and the panels can't handle the weight. Once they go, they really go.

Doesn't that just figure? My buddy had the exact same thing happen with his plastic shed last winter, it split like a cheap toy under the snow weight and he lost a bunch of stuff too.
