Lost $600 of camping gear in one storm because my shed sits in a low spot off Maple Street
Last April we got 4 inches of rain in about 3 hours and water came up through the floor of my shed and soaked everything. My $600 tent, two sleeping bags, and a cooler full of gear were sitting right in it because I never thought the yard would flood that far back. Now I've got everything on pallets and I'm looking at a gravel pad, but check where your water runs before you load a shed up. Anyone else deal with a shed that turns into a wading pool after heavy rain?
